We’re off!
Short delay at Gatwick, but arrived in Dubai in time to catch connection to Singapore.
Not much to say about a 7 hour flight - food decent, watched Wind River, which is filmed in Wyoming, where we were last year, and met a couple from Scotland on the plane who live in Dubai because UK tax is too high. He’s in construction - yawn! I spent as little time talking to them as possible - they would have voted for Brexit if they had been in the country. Of course they would, much better to exploit poorly paid immigrant workers somewhere else. Low tax, low safety standards, maximum profit - whats not to like! Piss off and don’t return, I said (under my breath).
