WELCOME!

Welcome to my website. Essentially this is a blog site, normally published when I am on the road. A mixture of travelogue and aimless rambling, and the occasional political rant. Peppered with pictures, hopefully to make it a bit more interesting!

The blogs appear in reverse order, ie most recent first. They are also categorised according to the trip so it is possible to select a specific trip and see those. The most recent trips appear as a horizontal list and there is a "more" button that produces a drop down of all previous ones.

Occasionally I write a longer article and publish it separately - see the "articles" tab. They are travelogues but with a specific theme.

And more recently I have replaced my gallery page of travel photographs (which nobody ever looked at!) with a selection of photographs I am pleased to have taken. They may be from travel but equally they may not and some have been taken whilst sitting freezing my butt off in a remote hide somewhere in the world!

Finally if you would like an alert each time I post a travel blog, please do sign up. The button is in the top right corner of the home page (which is set to be the BLOG, or just click on BALDJOURNAL.COM) and all it requires is an email and a password. You will then get an email each time I post.
